These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Quick Skips website and the booking of skip hire services through Quick Skips ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing our website or placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Quick Skips
Quick Skips is based in Kidsgrove, Staffordshire, and operates as a skip hire broker. We arrange skip hire services through a network of trusted, licensed local skip hire providers.

2. Our Service
Quick Skips provides an online booking service for domestic and commercial skip hire across our advertised service areas.
We do not own or operate the skips or delivery vehicles. Once your booking has been accepted, we arrange the service with one of our trusted local suppliers, who will be responsible for the delivery, collection and lawful disposal of your waste.
By placing a booking, you acknowledge that certain operational policies and procedures of the appointed supplier may also apply.
3. Booking a Skip
All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance.
When placing a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including:
Full name
Contact details
Delivery address
Required skip size
Hire requirements
Any chargeable or specialist waste
Any access restrictions
Whether a highway permit may be required
You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate. Incorrect information may result in delays, additional charges or cancellation.
4. Service Area
Quick Skips operates only within the service areas advertised on our website.
Before placing a booking, you must ensure that your delivery address falls within our coverage area. If you are unsure, please contact us before booking.
If an order is placed outside our advertised service area without prior agreement, we reserve the right to:
Cancel the booking.
Apply an additional delivery surcharge where available.
Decline the booking.
Any additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery information are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All prices displayed on our website include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.
Additional charges may apply where:
Chargeable waste has not been declared.
Prohibited waste is discovered.
The skip is overloaded.
Delivery or collection cannot be completed due to customer circumstances.
Safe access is unavailable.
Additional hire days are requested.
Additional disposal or handling charges are incurred by the appointed supplier.
Where possible, customers will be informed before any additional charges are applied.
6. Waste Declaration
Customers are responsible for accurately declaring the type of waste being placed into the skip.
Certain waste types require specialist handling or additional disposal charges. Failure to declare these materials may result in additional charges or refusal to collect the skip until the issue has been resolved.

7. Delivery
We will arrange delivery with one of our trusted local suppliers.
Although every effort is made to deliver on your requested date, delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:
Traffic.
Weather conditions.
Road closures.
Vehicle breakdowns.
Operational requirements.
Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Quick Skips or the appointed supplier.
Customers must ensure:
Safe and unrestricted access.
Sufficient space for the delivery vehicle.
The delivery area is free from obstructions.
Any access restrictions are disclosed before delivery.
Where delivery cannot be completed because of customer circumstances, additional charges may apply.
8. Skip Placement & Permits
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the proposed skip location is suitable.
Where a skip is placed on private land, customers confirm they have permission from the landowner.
If the skip is to be placed on a public road, pavement or highway, a permit may be required from the relevant local authority.
Where available, the appointed supplier may arrange the permit on your behalf. Any permit fees are payable by the customer.
Delivery cannot take place until any required permit has been approved.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Use the skip safely and lawfully.
Ensure only permitted waste is placed into the skip.
Not overload the skip above the fill line.
Keep the skip accessible for collection.
Not move or tamper with the skip once delivered.
Prevent children from playing in or around the skip.
Ensure no waste overhangs the sides of the skip.
The appointed supplier may refuse to collect a skip that is overloaded, unsafe or contains prohibited materials.
10. Prohibited Items
Customers must not place prohibited or hazardous materials into a skip.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Asbestos.
Chemicals and hazardous substances.
Fuel, petrol and diesel.
Oils and solvents.
Liquid paint.
Gas cylinders.
Batteries, including lithium batteries.
Disposable vapes and e-cigarettes.
Tyres.
Clinical waste, syringes and sharps.
Animal waste and faeces.
Hot ashes or burning materials.
Explosives and fireworks.
Fire extinguishers.
Fridges and freezers.
Televisions and computer monitors.
Fluorescent tubes.
Certain electrical appliances.

11. Hire Period
The agreed hire period is usually two weeks, but will be confirmed when your booking is accepted.
If you require the skip for longer than originally agreed, please contact us as soon as possible.
Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
12. Collection
Collection will be arranged with the appointed supplier at the end of the agreed hire period.
Customers must ensure that:
The skip remains accessible.
Waste does not exceed the fill line.
No prohibited items have been added.
The skip remains safe to transport.
If collection cannot be completed due to customer circumstances, additional charges may apply.
13. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Where costs have already been incurred by Quick Skips or the appointed supplier, appropriate deductions may be made from any refund.
14. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We accept no liability for temporary interruptions caused by maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quick Skips shall not be liable for:
Delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Delays caused by the appointed supplier where beyond our control.
Delays relating to local authority permits.
Loss of profits or business interruption.
Loss arising from inaccurate customer information.
Indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any rights you have under UK consumer protection legislation.
16. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, images, logos and branding, is the property of Quick Skips unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission.
17. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The latest version will always be published on this page with the revised effective date.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
